Laurie spent 36 years at Dow in a wide range of administrative roles, most recently serving as an administrative leader. Over the course of her career, she became a trusted subject matter expert in PowerPoint, known for creating polished, professional presentations. Her strong attention to detail and ability to make complex information look effortless quickly became her signature.

As Laurie’s reputation grew, so did the demand for her talents. Colleagues, community members, and local organizations began seeking out her expertise for help with presentation design, document formatting, proofreading, website updates, and other administrative needs. The interest in her services led to the launch of Laurie’s Administrative Services in 2016.
 

Since then, Laurie has supported businesses and community organizations with everything from presentation development to supply coordination and a wide variety of behind-the-scenes tasks that keep operations running smoothly. Her professionalism and strong experience make her an invaluable partner to the clients she serves.

Following her retirement from Dow in 2021, Laurie has focused her time on her business and giving back through community volunteer work. In her free time, she enjoys tending to her yard, decorating her home, and spending time with her dear cat, Henry.
 

Emily has always had a heart for organization, clear communication, and helping people feel supported. After six years working in Human Resources, in both the private and public sectors, she began offering LinkedIn and resume writing services to friends and family. What started as a simple way to help others naturally grew as an addition to her mother’s skills in already existing administrative support business.

 

A graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, Emily brings 6 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting, onboarding and orientations, and administrative support. She also earned her SHRM-CP in 2021, which reflects her commitment to staying informed in her line of work. Over the years, Emily has built a reputation for being prompt, kind, and dependable, someone who others can lean on, so they can focus on what matters most.

Outside of her business, Emily loves baking, weekend trips to Petoskey with her husband, and spending time with their golden retriever Henry, and sweet tiger cat Elizabeth.
